About the Series

The MedicalView™ Surgery Series will offer video and multimedia presentation of a wide variety of surgical procedures for physicians, health care professionals, patients and their family members.

Each program will include a video of the procedure, illustration and/or animation depicting the patient's medical problem and a description about the procedure itself.

The program will also offer advice from the physician who performs the surgery on what to expect before and after the procedure including preparation, recovery, and rehabilitation.

Richard L. Levitt, MD has been a practicing orthopaedic surgeon in the Miami, Florida area for the past 23 years. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical School in Philadelphia, PA and he has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1974. His appointments and positions have included Chief of Sports Medicine & Arthroscopic Surgery, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Miami Beach, FL; Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery, South Miami Hospital, S.
